Sleepless in partnership with Future Insurance Brokers are hosting a free non-technical cyber security breakfast briefing for business owners. This briefing will highlight how you can ensure your business has the ability to secure your information, protect against Employee Data Theft (Deliberate or Inadvertent), Data Loss and Data Security Threats.

 

The breakfast briefing takes place in the G Hotel on Thursday the 28th September at 8:00am. It will feature three short presentations and a panel discussion among industry leading experts.

 

There will be free breakfast served along with tea and coffee before and during the event.

Sleepless present at the Galway Solicitors Bar Association

Sleepless were delighted to present at the Galway Solicitors Bar Association at the Galway Courthouse on Friday the 21st of July.

The presentation focused on ransomware, data backup and modern cloud based email solutions.

Daragh Naughton, Technical Director at Sleepless, briefed attendees on how to identify and stop a ransomware attack, and also how to defend against online threats.

Daragh also discussed the best practices for businesses to backup up their data and showed the importance of the 3,2,1 rule.

Another topic on the agenda was how the legal industry should be using modern technology to send and receive emails securely. Daragh provided some case studies of some clients who we have helped improve their email service, and showed the advantages of doing so.
